Well done and done-er-er then--MC Ratty in da houuuse. Haha I was only asking if you were IN the reading because I figured you'd have some idea of when the reading is... =P.

If you'd like any bio info or anything about anyone, I can help you get it, or you can also just ask the readers directly (I'll go update the latest roster right now, as well as send out an email.). Whatever you need, I'm here for ya ;).

First meeting on the 7th of March

We were going to do it on the 29th, but there were some conflicts so now we're set (tentatively) for the 7th. Hopefully we can meet up with some of the folks from the poetry and translation clubs and pools some of our resources. It the 7th does not work for anyone, please say so.

As far as events, we know we want to organize a student reading as soon as possible, likely within a month and a half from now. Aside from that, fund raising is going to play a big part in the success of our financial affairs this semester, so any suggestions in that regards are surely welcome. Ideas thus far include: A Raffle at party, and selling t-shirts. Both great ideas. Hopefully we can generate even more by the 17th.

I like the Raffle idea in general--how do we get support from local businesses and ask them to donate items/services to be raffled?? i.e. Is there some sort of official SDSU form that we take to assure people that we are legit??

Everyone loves publicity, and restaurants/stores can easily donate a free meal or small item here and there to spread their name on campus right??

Since these are the nascent stages of this website, I would encourage everyone to mess around with the form, look, design, etc. For example, you can change the them by logging in and going to Wiki Settings, then Style. If something catches your fancy, change it. I chose the green and earth-tone theme because it seemed tranquil, but it's certainly not the style we must keep. Also, if you can think of any other pages that we may need, create them. It's looking good already, so maybe soon we can get it enough into shape so we can tell other people to check it out.
